A Late George III Oak Dresser and Rack, the removeable rack with cup hooks and three fixed shelves above a boarded base with an arrangement of five drawers around an arched apron, on turned supports joined by a pot board 155cm by 36cm by 193cm Several hooks missing, with previous hook marks visible (see images). The top section of the dresser has a large burn? mark which has been partly coloured. Slightly faded, but of uniform colour around the drawer fronts and sides. The upper section of the rack has an old split? which has been partly filled and polished (see images). There is some old decay around the legs, particularly the rear legs. Brasses are later. There are some gaps/splits to the potboard (as photographed). Previous handle marks are not visible from the outside of the drawers, only internally (please see images). Despite being different in colour, the rails to the potboard appear to be original. Please see additional images online.

The rear right-hand corner has a spliced repair. There is some old decay visible from the inside, with a further split (as photographed). The interior has a white hue from damp, this seems to rub away. The lock has been replaced. The brasses have also been replaced.
